Below are 25 thought leaders in the eLearning industry that we’re following right now. Note: these are organized in alphabetical order by last name.

John BlackmonFounder and Chief Technology Officer at Trivantis®, John also shares the latest eLearning trends and technology in webinars and whitepapers. He recently launched a new blog series for executives called “Chief Insights.”

Jane Bozarth – Author of several eLearning books, Jane also writes the monthly “Nuts and Bolts” column in Learning Solutions Magazine, along with her own blog, Bozarthzone.

Diane Elkins – Diane is founder of Artisan E-Learning and co-author of the popular E-Learning Uncovered book series.

Joe Ganci – Joe is an eLearning consultant, owner of eLearning Joe, and experienced speaker at learning events. He also writes a software review column for Learning Solutions Magazine.

Jane Hart – Founder of the Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies (C4LPT), Jane also gives keynotes and presentations and is the author of several books, including Learning in the Modern Workplace.

Harold Jarche – Harold is a keynote speaker, consultant, writer, and workshop facilitator helping organizations with learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in a networked world.

Charles Jennings – Co-founder of the 70:20:10 Institute, Charles is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on building and implementing 70:20:10 learning strategies.

Karl KappKarl Kapp, Ed.D., is a researcher, analyst, speaker, professor, learning expert, and designer of instructional games. He is a full-professor of Instructional Technology at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and the Director of Bloomsburg’s Institute for Interactive Technologies. Karl was our LUC 2017 Keynote Speaker and has presented webinars for Trivantis in the past.

Connie MalamedConnie is author of The eLearning Coach website, where she shares actionable strategies, practical content, product reviews, and resources to help eLearning professionals design, develop, and understand online learning.

Elliott MasieElliott heads The MASIE Center and is editor of Learning TRENDS newsletter read by over 57,000 business executives worldwide, and a regular columnist in professional publications, including CLO Magazine.

Laura Overton – Laura is CEO and Founder of Towards Maturity, a not for profit benchmark practice that provides independent expert research and advice in using learning innovation to accelerate business performance.

Sunder Ramachandran – Sunder is General Manager, Training at GSK Pharmaceuticals India, as well as an L&D strategy writer and speaker focused on aligning people processes and technology to solve business problems. 

Debbie RichardsDebbie is president of Creative Interactive Ideas, where she serves as a consultant. She also speaks at national conferences on emerging technologies.

Andrew Scivally – Andrew is co-founder and CEO of eLearning Brothers, who offer an extensive eLearning template library and graphic assets. The eLearning Brothers consistently earn awards not only for their content library, but also for their company culture and rapid growth.

Patti Shank – Founder of Learning Peaks, Patti is a Designer, analyst, author, and facilitator who writes about evidence-based organizational learning.

Ravi Pratap Singh – Ravi is co-founder of Learnnovators, a custom development organization who produces the “Crystal Balling with Learnnovators” thought-provoking interview series on the future of learning. 

Marc RosenbergDr. Rosenberg is a management consultant and leading expert in the industry. He is an accomplished speaker and writer, author of several best-selling books on eLearning strategy and the “Marc My Words” column for Learning Solutions Magazine.

Mike Rustici – Mike is an innovative software developer turned entrepreneur and president at Watershed LRS and former head of Rustici Software, where he played a major role in developing xAPI.

Sergey SnegirevSergey is CEO and creator of BranchTrack, an online tool for creating branching scenarios and interactive dialogues. He also writes how-to articles, and has presented at several conferences, as well as webinars for BranchTrack and other companies.

Rebecca Stromeyer – Rebecca is the owner and founder at eLearning Africa, along with owner and co-founder of OEB Global.

Donald H. Taylor– Donald is Chairman of the Learning and Performance Institute, along with an L&D speaker and writer.

Craig Weiss – CEO and Lead Analyst at The Craig Weiss Group, Craig also publishes a yearly Top 50 LMS Report and monitors over 1,000 LMSs around the world.

David Wentworth – David is Principal Analyst at Brandon Hall Group, a research organization focused on driving performance and providing strategic insights for growth and business results.

David Wilson – David is founder and CEO of Fosway Group, an independent research, analysis, and insight organization for next generation HR and learning.

Rick Zanotti – Rick is president of RELATE Corporation, a full service training development and corporate video production house. He has been a longtime industry leader and master storyteller.
