Session Objectives:

  1. Learn the essential elements required for Section 508 accessibility in an eLearning course
  2. Review and provide your input to a current draft of a Lectora Online Responsive Design 508 Template
  3. Review and provide your input to a current draft of a Lectora Online Responsive Design 508 Checklist

Description:

This session will be an interactive brainstorming to improve the draft of what will eventually be a shared Lectora Online Responsive Design template that incorporates Section 508 accessibility features. When completed, this template will be available. An additional end product will be the creation of a Lectora Online specific 508 compliant development checklist.

In the session, the current template will be demonstrated, leading to a discussion on what additional elements (e.g., interactions, page layouts, etc.) might also be included in the final Lectora Online Responsive Course Design 508 template. Participants will be able to contribute to the final work.
