Session Objectives:

  1. Learn to modify an existing template to create an interactive module
  2. Create badges using and import to gamify the module
  3. Develop a unique, fun, and memorable module working smarter, not harder



This session will show participants how they can use Lectora Inspire to create a gamified/interactive module by modifying an eLearning Brothers “Lectora Click and Reveal: Squares Surround” Interaction and adding in badges created in We will discuss our project challenges, requirements, and demo the completed project. Then we will instruct users how to create the module by importing the template interaction, adding/linking content, and incorporating badges. We will assist users with any questions and technical issues. Participants will go home with a complete set of instructions and source files.

Requirements for this session will be at least an intermediate to advanced level of experience with Inspire. Technologies: Lectora Inspire, eLearning Brothers,

Presenter Bio:

Windy works remotely for CACI from Charleston, SC. Before coming to CACI, she was a government contractor in the roles of graphic design, multimedia design, and instructional design for the past 13 years. Her undergraduate degree is in Media Arts and Design, and in 2011 she went back to grad school to get a M. Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology. Since then, Windy’s area of specialty is eLearning. She also has a graduate certificate in eLearning and gamification. Windy describes her main challenge as developing a unique, interactive, engaging, and memorable compliance training experience for 20k employees annually. She has received over 13 career awards in the areas of graphic, multimedia, and eLearning design and development.

Znar has been with CACI for the past 7 years and prior to that, worked at a software company called Deltek for 8 years in various Human Resources roles. In her current role on the Corporate Learning & Development team, she manages the compliance training development process and the learning management system. Znar has basic experience developing courses using Lectora Inspire and Snap.
