Certification for Lectora Authors

Lectora has made a remarkable impact within the eLearning community over its relatively short lifetime. The tremendous growth and evolution of the product has been matched by the growth of our enthusiastic and dedicated user population.

We realize there are numerous authoring tools from which to choose. To show our appreciation to our user community, Trivantis is excited to offer a certification program.

Trivantis offers two levels of certification:

Lectora Certified Author
A Lectora Certified Author demonstrates a strong understanding of Lectora capabilities and can successfully create, troubleshoot and publish Lectora titles. The author is capable of creating basic interactivity with the use of actions and variables.

Lectora Certified Advanced Author
A Lectora Certified Advanced Author demonstrates extensive knowledge of Lectora and has the ability to develop complex interactivity within a title. The author has problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of web-based programming.

Certification Cost
Each certification is only $99, payable by credit card.

Certification Format
There are two levels of certification, Lectora Certified Author and Lectora Certified Advanced Author. Both levels of certification comprise two parts:

• The online test consists of 100 various question types of equal weight.
• The sample title is a Lectora title which must be enhanced, corrected and submitted per instructions.
