Using Camtasia and Actions = Engagement!

At the 2014 Lectora® User Conference, Nationwide Insurance e-Learning specialist Sara Faas showed us how she created videos in Camtasia® and used Actions in Lectora to make technical online training more interesting for her colleagues. Take a look at the graphic below—doesn’t the training already look more fun?

Sara created a robot named Hopper who became the narrator for the training videos she made. Hopper followed characters around in video scenarios and then also guided the learner through quizzes used to assess comprehension.

Using Lectora Actions, she was able to make ideas “pop” out of Hopper’s head when a learner clicked the “Generate Idea” button.
