Copying and applying a character's style to another character

You can copy the style properties of a character and apply them to another character. This prevents you from having to manually apply each individual property to other characters.

You can also copy and apply the style properties of text blocks, shapes, lines, or arrows, buttons, and images. You can copy and apply the following style properties:

To copy the style properties of a character and apply them to another character:

  1. In the Title Explorer or in the work area, select the character whose style properties you want to copy.

  2. On the Home ribbon, select Style Painter from the Clipboard group.

  3. Locate the target character . You will notice the cursor change to the paintbrush cursor within the work area.

  4. Select the target character.

The style properties from the original character are applied to the target character .
